Description
Apollo-Reborn is the community-maintained Apollo sideload build powered by the Apollo-Reborn tweak.
It restores custom API support, media fixes, uploads, inline media, translation, saved categories, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Liquid Glass support on iOS 26+, and the rest of the project’s ongoing fixes and enhancements.
These sources are intended for AltStore Classic, SideStore, and Feather. Apollo-Reborn is not compatible with AltStore PAL.
Choose the source variant that matches how you sideload:
• Standard: full app bundle with Apollo’s working extensions plus Apollo-Reborn widgets
• No Extensions: strips app extensions, including widgets, to reduce App ID usage on free Apple IDs
• GLASS: adds the Liquid Glass iOS 26 patch and bundled Liquid Glass icon catalog
• No Extensions + GLASS: combines both options
The extension-bearing builds (Standard and GLASS) register about 7 App IDs, one per bundled app extension. A free Apple ID can register 10 App IDs per 7 days, so a clean single install fits, but it is easy to exceed if you install under more than one bundle ID, reinstall within the same week, or sideload other extension-bearing apps. If an install fails with an App ID error, use a No Extensions build (1 App ID) or wait for older App IDs to expire. A paid Apple Developer account has a much higher cap.

Performance
• Send fewer Reddit requests on API-Key-Free accounts by not repeating link preview lookups for sites that block previews and by briefly reusing the Inbox's reply lookups, so ordinary reading reaches Reddit's rate limit later (#1579: @icpryde)
• New replies, and anything you post or edit, still refresh right away
Fixes
• Fix multi-photo posts showing a reddit.com link and 0 photos since Reddit began marking their photos as failed, so the gallery, feed carousel, media viewer, Save All and Gallery View show them again (#1589: @icpryde)
• Covers galleries posted from Apollo with Reddit as the Media Upload Host and from other apps; they show as square cards in the feed
• Fix API-Key-Free search showing "Error searching" or "Error loading subreddits" for post search, searching within a subreddit or multireddit, and subreddit search (#1557: @DeltAndy123)
• Fix All Posts (r/all) showing "Couldn't load posts" on API-Key-Free accounts, for every sort and with Exclude Subscriptions (#1570: @icpryde)
• All Posts has another way in before Old Reddit, and if Reddit blocks another API-Key-Free read, a route update can work around it without an app update (#1594: @DeltAndy123)
• Open the feed you chose to start on again at launch by turning Restore Reading Session off by default; it moves to Posts & Feeds → Feed (#1511: @IllIIllIllIllII)
• A choice you changed yourself in 4.0.0 is kept, so turn it back on there if you relied on the 4.0.0 default
• Fix a crash when opening a post or comment link while Reddit is rate-limiting requests, most often right after returning to Apollo; the usual "Error loading comments" banner shows instead (#1572: @icpryde)
• Fix the home screen icon turning into iOS's generic grid after installing or updating Apollo with an alternate icon selected (#1554: @icpryde)
• Apollo re-applies your icon once on the first launch after the update, so iOS shows its "You have changed the icon" alert; tapping the selected icon again under App Icon also redraws it
• Open a tapped Inbox reply or comment link directly on that comment, without the post flashing, gliding and snapping into place, and keep your place when returning from a pushed page (#1584: @icpryde)
• Show the Unrecoverable label on deleted comments the archive can't restore, instead of a thin, cut-off red strip with only the age showing (#1578: @icpryde)

• The banner now waits until Reddit finishes processing the video, so it can appear a few seconds later; applies to videos uploaded with Media Upload Host set to Reddit
• Stop the media post composer jumping when you pick a flair or photo with a title that wraps onto two or more lines (#1571: @icpryde)
• Open the subreddit switcher with the keyboard down, so your favorites stay visible until you tap the search field (#1564: @IllIIllIllIllII)

• Bring back the Search tab's search bar and tab bar on a downward flick after Hide Bars on Scroll hid them on the classic (non-Liquid Glass) look, instead of leaving them hidden until Apollo restarts (#1575: @icpryde)
• Stop quick Posts tab taps on Liquid Glass opening a post or username behind the tab bar while going back a page; repeated taps keep stepping back right away (#1512: @IllIIllIllIllII)
• Let a swipe over Community Highlights go Back once the carousel is at its first highlight, and Forward at its last when there is a page to go forward to, instead of only bouncing (#1577: @icpryde, @nnastasi)
• Make Open in Apollo (Manual Fallback) open Apollo directly when Link Companion isn't installed, instead of reloading the page and hiding its button (#1574: @icpryde)
• iOS asks before switching to Apollo; the fix comes with the IPAs that include the Safari extensions
• Polish the unfolded iPhone Duo split view: Gallery View uses the whole screen instead of sitting partly behind the feed column or sidebar, and the YouTube loading screen covers the whole split instead of one column (#1496, #1516: @nnastasi)
• The comment jump button stays inside the comments pane for every Jump Button Position, and off the fold when partially folded (#1490: @nnastasi)
• Fix iPad Layout (Beta) crashing Apollo Reborn settings when Liquid Glass is off, and fix the Subreddits list, feed rows, pane titles, selection outlines and sign-in notice being squeezed, clipped or hidden under the sidebar (#1504: @DeltAndy123)
